On Wednesdays November 7th, I'm going to attend a seminar at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney titled Going Professional - Photography. It's described as:
Artists David Stephenson, Martin Smith and Julie Rrap lead a session that considers what it means to work professionally as an artist using
photography; the decision to work with an agent or a gallery; how to submit work for exhibition in galleries and magazines; which competitions and awards are right for you; and how to balance work that pays the bills with work that helps establish a fine-art reputation.
Sounds like it might have some useful information so I'll post an update on it towards the end of the week for anyone that's interested. -----------------------------------------------
