- Here's a list of some fantastic sites put together by Chase Jarvis with some help from a multitude of his readers. I was going to put one of these lists together myself, but I found so many on the Web that I thought it better to just link to them.- For some reason I've always liked the term: The Butterfly Effect. It just sounds so cool. It's basically a general more "cool" term to explain the more technical notion of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in Chaos Theory (another cool term). It's the whole, if a butterfly flaps it's wings in the Amazon, could it start a hurricane in some other part of the world? In any case, it's an interesting concept that you can read about in more detail here.
