Sometimes when we're neck deep in self pity, complaining about the most insignificant things, and thinking that our problems are insurmountable, we reach a point where we need a good kick in the ass to snap us back to reality. Randy Pausch is a virtual reality pioneer, human-computer interaction researcher, co-founder of Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center, and creator of the Alice software project.
