Every once in a while you come across a story, fact, idea or image that really makes you wonder what else goes on around you that you have no idea about. You start to wonder about secret buildings, installations and all the other cloak and dagger stuff.
Well, I came across this slide show from The New York Times the other day and had those exact thoughts. Apperantly, on the Norwegian island of Svalbard, there is a "Fort Knox" of sorts for seeds. That's right, seeds, as in the ones for plants and vegatables. Check out the the slide show, it's pretty cool (literally).
