- Here's a list of some fantastic sites put together by Chase Jarvis with some help from a multitude of his readers. I was going to put one of these lists together myself, but I found so many on the Web that I thought it better to just link to them.- For some reason I've always liked the term: The Butterfly Effect. It just sounds so cool. It's basically a general more "cool" term to explain the more technical notion of sensitive dependence on initial conditions in Chaos Theory (another cool term). It's the whole, if a butterfly flaps it's wings in the Amazon, could it start a hurricane in some other part of the world? In any case, it's an interesting concept that you can read about in more detail here.

Speedlinks
This week it's all about learning something new, which is what I've been focusing on intensely for the past few weeks. There is such a huge learning curve when it comes to many aspects of digital photography, especially with digital image processing/editing.
Depending on what camera or software you use, you would have, or eventually will, come across something called Colour Space, in particular, Adobe RGB 1998 and sRGB. One or both of these terms will sooner or later rear their ugly head to confuse you and possibly mess up your prints.
So, here are a few links with either articles or tutorials that might clear up a few of the misconceptions or vague understandings you already have, and also create some new ones for you. Some of the sites assume you already have Photoshop or some sort of image processing/editing software and already know something about this stuff, others are more general. Hope you get something out of them.

Speedlinks
I keep adding links to my bookmarks everyday of interesting sites I find here and there, so I thought I'd do the normal blogger thing and add a "Speedlinks" post and share some of the sites with my oh so many readers. I think I'm up to 5 subscribers now, you know who you are, so thank you.
Everybody else seems to do a weekly "Speedlinks" post so I'll start with a Friday post. This way you'll have some stuff to look at over the weekend. Of course, I'm in Australia, but since most of my readers seem to come from the U.S., I'll actually be posting these on a Saturday which makes it Friday in the States, but Saturday here in Australia. Is that confusing enough for you? In any case, you'll get the post either on a Friday or Saturday.
The Road Runner picture is the whole "Speed" part of the "Speedlinks" thing, you know, beep beep! Come on, it's funny! Concept borrowed from the Strobist (give credit where credit is due).
Although today is not Friday, we'll start it anyway, since this post would sound pretty stupid without some links. (All the links open up in a new window)
